Myoko Kogen Tourist Information Centre

The friendly and helpful staff at the local tourist information centers listed below can assist with bookings, transport, maps and other general information. Limited English is spoken, so bring your phrasebook!

Akakura – The Akakura Visitor Center is located on the right of the main street about 200 metres past the bridge as you enter the village. Phone: 0255-87-2481

Myokokogen Tourist Association and Information Center (photo above) is located 100 metres to the right as you depart the Myokokogen train station (see map below). Phone: 0255-86-3911 Address: 291-1 Ōaza Taguchi, Myoko-shi, Niigata-ken 949-2106 – (English speakers may not be present). Open 8.30am-6.00pm

Shinano-machi – The Tourist Association and Information Center number is 026-255-3226.

Sekiyama – The Tourist Center number is 0255-82-2400.

Suginohara Tourist Info Centre – is located at the Suginohara Kankōkyōkai bus stop. Open 8.30am-5pm Mon-Fri (daily during the ski season) Phone: 0255-86-6000

Togakushi – The Tourist Information Center number is 026-254-2888
